What is your style of photography?
I specialise in documentary photography, which means that I take natural, honest and emotive photographs. I like to be unobtrusive and blend into the background to capture the genuine love, emotion and connection between you and your loved ones (you’ll hardly notice I’m there).
Can we have a pre-wedding meeting to discuss the details?
Absolutely! The wedding day is all about you and telling your story as a couple so I like to get to know each of my couples and their personality before the big day. Because of this a pre-wedding consultation is included in all of my wedding packages!
How long until we receive our images?
Lifestyle shoots (i.e. family, newborn, enagement etc) tend to be ready within 2 weeks (depending on the number of images from the session). Weddings are usually ready within 6-8 weeks but can sometimes take a little longer during peak season (May-September).
How do i book?
Its easy! Go to my “Get in touch” page and complete the enquiry form. Once I receive the form and have checked my availability I will send you my standard terms and conditions with details regarding payment and deposits. Once the terms and conditions have been returned and a deposit has been received I will send you a booking confirmation confirming all the details and the final amount due prior to the wedding. Then I am all yours and we are all set to go!
How far in advance should I book?
For weddings and lifestyle shoots I advise booking as soon as possible - you can never book too early! I’d advise getting in touch as soon as you decide that I am the one for you so that we can save the date and get planning!
What areas do you cover and Do you travel?
I cover Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, East Anglia and the wider UK. I love to travel and am more than happy to travel to a location of your choice for your special day.
Do you do bespoke wedding packages?
Yes. Every wedding and couple is unique and I understand that you might be looking for something more specific than a general wedding package. If you would like to discuss a bespoke package please get in touch and I can build one that suits your needs.
Can I print my digital images?
Of course! All your digital images come in high resolution suitable for printing. Whilst I hold the copyright to your images, you are given printing rights to print and share the images with your family and friends until your hearts content.
Are you insured?
Yes! I have fully public liability and indemnity insurance that should cover any eventuality.
What if I don’t like having my picture taken?
You are not alone! I understand that a lot of people feel uncomfortable in front of a camera. I like to get to know my clients prior to photographing them so that we have an established relationship when it comes to the big day. I will crack some jokes and have fun with you so that you feel relaxed and more natural in front of the camera. There will be no cheesy poses or awkward smiles, we will just have a lot of fun and as a result your images will be full of warmth, laughter and natural emotion.
